As many of you know I have been given the opportunity to travel back to Zambia, Africa to teach with Spark Ventures. I am traveling back with Sara Blumenshine who also attended North Park and we will be living together and working hand-in-hand from here on out. This blog is going to be the main mode of connection with you all while we are there and we invite you to check back as often as possible.
Sara is departing from the United States the first week of July and I will be departing the last week of August. As we continue to travel through the summer, I will be posting about our preparations and about anything that we may need your assistance with. You will have a handful of opportunities to participate in events and give the gifts that God has called you to give in whatever that actually looks like. We ask that you would continue to pray for our preparations and our good-byes as we begin the transition. Thank you all for your love and support and I am SO SO SO EXCITED to share this experience with you all!
A HEADS UP: In Muskegon we will be holding a bowling tournament this Friday June 3rd, 2011 at Bob-Hi Lanes. There is a happy hour from 6-7pm and then bowling will begin promptly at 7pm. It is $15 a person and the night will include a raffle for large prizes such as golf packages, a new kayak, and a few other prizes. Come join us and bring your friends!
